As I write this it is two hours before Shabbat. In the background I hear the voice of the holy Rebbe Shlomo Carlebach. His music lifts the soul and brings a profound kind of joy. The songs of Shlomo have the quality of being new even when we have heard them time and time again. In fact our love for them is the joy we have in hearing them again and again.
'Shabbos in Shemayim' provides a taste of- in the words of my own Holy Teacher one of Shlomo's most beloved pupils Dovid Herzberg ( How I and so many others miss him) - the highest of the highest, the deepest of the deepest, the best.
